Project management and leadership was provided for the Aquifer Injection trial program at Origin Energy.
This scheme was instrumental in a change to APLNG's water management strategy (adopting operational
injection at Reedy Creek) and proved injection of treated CSG water to be viable, on scale, at a
number of locations.
Scott implemented a modular design and extensive pre-fabrication strategy which provided:
Membrane (Ultra) filtration
Tripped the concurrent work fronts with the associated schedule savings,
Project costs savings of approximately 10% though access to offsite metropolitan
labour workforce,
Significant reduction in peak manning and a reduction in accommodation as well as high risk
work hours,
Increased efficiency for future redeployment.
A challenging project and delivery environment necessitated leadership, best practice project management and driving technical
interfaces to ensure the program finished on time, budget and LTI free.
